High School
Students in grades 7-12 are put on a schedule that will complete the requirements for graduation according to the Ministry of Education of the Dominican Republic and will also satisfy credits for a diploma that will be recognized by colleges and universities in the United States and other parts of the world.
The High School program is designed to develop graduates who are:
Bilingual – they are able to read, write, translate, and speak both English and Spanish with fluency
Academically prepared to enter universities within the Dominican Republic or around the world
People of honor, integrity, and commitment
Servants to God – fulfilling His plan for their lives
Leaders in the community and in ministry
Acreditation
In April 2018, Las Palmas Christian School recieved recognition and accreditation from ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International). At the time, we were the 6th school to receive this accreditation from ACSI in the Dominican Republic. However, our unique model of teaching in two languages without translation, and the fact that we are located outside of a major metropolitan city gave us distinction among schools all over Latin America.
